haley___james
Site URL: https://www.fellowsvintage.com/ Hello! I'm nearing the end of a website that's been a lot of work (but hopefully rewarding). I did a lot of what I call digital scrapbooking—rendering old photos and magnets and textures to make for an almost tangible-feeling site. It's for a vintage store, so it's been fun and feels in-line with their brand. I think their customers will have a lot of fun interacting with the site, but I also tried to keep it simple. NOTE: I haven't adapted the site to mobile yet, so feedback is only wanted for those able to view desktop for now. 🙂 Curious about loading time, if there are seemingly any weird spacing issues on your browser, and any other feedback, design or UX, you might have! johnbacud
I'm speaking from a normal person's perspective here, and I have to say how cool it is that you cleanly incorporated vintage aesthetics with Squarepace's "shiny modern" design. The color palette is pleasant to look at, and it enhances your product pictures quite well. It's a small detail, but I really liked how the permanent site header's transparent background had a bit of blur to it. I don't know why that's something that stood out to me, but it's awesome. Cool site! Good luck on your endeavors. Edited September 9, 2022 by johnbacud Link to comment

studiofounded
As a designer with a background in fine art, I just love the use of paper textures! The sense of tactility and materials is lovely. Just a few thoughts: I would add more about your story to the home page. Going into the site I'm definitely intrigued, but want to know more about what you offer, your story, and why you do what you do. More words will also help on on the SEO-side of things. You should also check if you need Terms and Conditions or Privacy Policy pages. Often they are legally required, and they also help the site to appear trustworthy and professional. — HannahSisu Templates A brand designer & strategist creating brands that bridge the gaps between artistry, strategy, and thoughtful consideration.
