Bookl Posted September 3, 2022 Share Posted September 3, 2022 Hi, I am having issues with the lightbox anything plug-in. SInce tues/wed this week slideshow images in lightbox are now no longer showing. I can see the slideshow in the project page and it functions but when it loads in the lightbox, it is now blank. See attached screenshot. I have a page called 'Portfolio' which has images of my books. I followed the steps here https://beaverhero.com/squarespace-portfolio-lightbox/ and have set up a portfolio style page called 'work' which has each of my books as projects and a selection of photos of each within. I am using the link to page to open up the portfolio images associated with each book. Initially I was having a problem with the following: - I wanted to have these display as a slideshow with thumbnails - this was working to a point but the images kept caching and not returning to the 1st image when reopened. At this point I reached out to the dev but then when they looked at the website the slideshow lightbox diaplyed as blank (with navigation arrows), just no images displaying. I have tried removing the css and js, dowloaded again and linked back into squarespace. The code is in the footer as a markdown block: <link href="/s/plugin-lightbox.css" rel="stylesheet"> <script src="/s/plugin-lightbox.js"></script> <script>pluginLightbox();</script> I have tried deleting all the pictures and uploading again -even tried with just the Sqsp stock images: - I can see the images in the lightbox if I put the gallery in strip mode but slideshow now seems to be not functioning. - I can see the images in the slideshow on the page I am trying to lightbox to. I have reached out to the owner and he suggested it was becasue the website has a password - I made the website public and the issue persisted. Is anyone else experiencing issues or know how to resolve this? Link to comment

The forum community cannot resolve technical issues but I can tell you that, in the last two weeks, Squarespace have made a number of changes to page markup (the code used to structure pages on Squarespace websites) and these have affected third party addons as well as custom code.
