FCortesi
Site URL: https://www.francescacortesi.com Hello! I have a problem with the homepage of my website where I have a big area of extra padding after a banner section (after "latest posts"). And the problem is even worse on mobile. I could not understand where that padding is coming from, as it is not mentioned in the design section of the template. Anyone experiencing who has experienced a similar problem and found a solution? Thanks! Francesca Link to comment
christyprice
@FCortesi This is happening because the height accommodates the tallest title/excerpt. The best fix is to make your titles and excerpts roughly the same length across posts. You can see in this screenshot the longest title/excerpt that is causing the summary block to use a tall height; christyprice.com 🇺🇸 Austin, TX US ✅ Get my 100+ item Client Process Checklist 📔 Flourish Journal for Creative Entrepreneurs - 365 days of prompts 🎥 Watch Circle Live: Hello Income (feat. FCortesi
Thank you so much for the answer @christyprice! Is there a way to set a character limit for the excerpts in the settings? That would be of great help Link to comment
christyprice
@FCortesi there’s not a built-in option to limit the excerpt length.
