Custom CSS on Subscriber Area

Hi guys, 

I hope all is well. 

Having a slight issue with a Subscriber box and can't seem to find a fix. Have managed to apply white to most of the areas in the box I want, but not the static text in the First Name and Last Name. The code I have used is below: 

.newsletter-form-field-wrapper input:focus {
    color: white;
} 
.newsletter-form-field-element {
background: transparent !important;
border-top: none !important;
border-left: none !important;
border-right: none !important;
border-bottom: solid 2px !important; 
} 
.field.email input, .field.email input::placeholder, .field.email input:focus {
color: white !important;
}
.newsletter-block .newsletter-form-field-element {
    color: white;
}
