Chiara Posted August 23, 2022 Posted August 23, 2022 Hello, A quick intro - I am building a bilingual website in English and Japanese. The problem I am currently facing is that the right font size in English looks gigantic when converted into Japanese letters. SQS support person suggested searching for Japanese fonts supported by Google in Squarespace fonts but it appears that there is none... Is there any way to get around this? I am a beginner at building a website and am looking for a simple solution to resolve this issue. Thank you in advance. Chiara

kokutouchichi Posted September 6, 2022 Posted September 6, 2022 Found a site that explains step by step how to do it: https://www.fivedesign.co/blog/how-to-add-custom-font-to-your-squarespace-website Just use the Japanese fonts from Google Fonts and it'll work just fine.
Chiara Posted September 15, 2022 Author Posted September 15, 2022 Thank you for your reply. The issue is the conversion of fonts - even if I add custom fonts for Japanese, when translated they will still look huge because Japanese letters take more space than that of English. I don't know how to use coding so I guess it is impossible to re-size them.
