Code block, but styling as button class

Recommended Posts

Hi,

We have had the need on a site to style certain code blocks as a button. For instance, we may want a button that executes a popup or some other html. To do this, we have wrapped the code in a "sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element" class. This worked in the past, but recently, I'm guessing with the button changes in SquareSpace, this stopped working, and now the code like below will no longer show the button. I just want the button to take on the standard button appearance in the site (like secondary or tertiary.) Is there some fix for this? Is it a different class now? Do I need some other fix?

Thanks so much!

Code block code that previously worked to show a button:

<center><div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button">
 <a href="#page-section-62f13865e9183c21a6049715" class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element">Learn More</a>
</div></center>

Try this

<center><div class="sqs-block button-block sqs-block-button">
 <a href="#page-section-62f13865e9183c21a6049715" class="sqs-block-button-element--medium sqs-block-button-element sqs-button-element--primary">Learn More</a>
</div></center>
