CSS for Simple Liking 7.1

Does anyone know how to custom CSS to implement simple liking (heart / hearts bursts) on template version 7.1 ?

This cannot be achieved with CSS.

Can you tell me more about your requirement and provide me with a link to your store so that I can understand what you are trying to achieve?

To tell a bit more: I would like to add the possibility for people to like single blog posts (it was available in version 7.0). The blog is to be found here: www.maartjestroeken.com/blog

I misunderstood your original question as I thought you were referring to 'favouriting' products, not blog posts. My mistake 🤭

Unfortunately, Squarespace didn't add 'Simple Likes' support to blog posts in version 7.1, and it is almost impossible for a third party developer to add them because Squarespace don't provide us with a way of storing the information on the site 🥲 

All I can recommend is that you log a feature request with Squarespace Customer Care to add this 7.0 feature in 7.1. I appreciate this is not ideal, but I don't have a better suggestion.

I already applied for a requested with costumer support 😉 (it will be proposed to the engineers to maybe implement in the future), but I will go look at the existing forum thread.
