Need help with Text Hover effect for a Hyperlinked text

Hi, I'm working on a website and I want to do this simple thing where I want the "Check More" hyperlinked text on the bottom of the homepage to change its color when I hover on it. I was able to implement it to my header menu but for some reason I can't do it to my Hyperlinked text in the body. Tried everything. Nothing is working.

Try adding to Home > Design > Custom Css
