Summary Block Slideshow Fade In and Out

I'd like to have the summary block slideshow fade in and out between the images which it appears to do for the first cycle but then it stops working. 

Here's the code I currently have

.summary-v2-block .sqs-gallery-design-carousel{
transition: opacity 2s ease-in-out 5s !important;
}
