I wonder the same how you can add it just in a left up corner below the main logo.

I went through 4-5 steps to reach that product, but 'breadcrumbs' only shows 'Store > Product'

I see SquareSpace is using Breadcrumbs navigation on their Forum. 

Home > Forum > Customize with Code > Breadcrumbs to the entire site.

How can we, regular folks, implement a similar breadcrumbs navigation through the website?

Standard Squarespace pages don't have a tree or nested structure so breadcrumbs aren't available.

On Squarespace 7.1 store pages now have nested categories, allowing you to structure your products more easily. In every page you can do it manually, just duplicate the page, in the blog I solved in rudagt.squarespace.com I got all the breadcrumb in blog and Will has a Breadcrumb for categoryes, just dig a little bit in the forum
