kitkats Posted July 26, 2022 Posted July 26, 2022 Is it just me or is the email / profiles implementation EXTREMELY limited? The filters for segmentation are based on order dates or amounts but there is no way to segment all customers who bought a specific product, or didn't buy it. I can add tags but only to one profile at a time!!? I cannot filter all my customers who signed up organically, or the ones I imported. Even with the date filters you can only find users 'before' OR 'after' a date - there's no way to filter profiles from BETWEEN two dates. How is anyone actually using this system? It is SO far behind the other dedicated email marketing platforms. I wish I had looked deeper into how ridiculously limited it is before I paid for it.

ELUCIA Posted January 19 Posted January 19 Yes, it IS totally lame!! Very basic automation (like sending an email to UNOPENED recipients) cannot be done. I just wasted HOURS creating a beautiful email campaign that I now was just informed I cannot automate the way I need to. The have a very limited "Automation" tool now...but AUTOMATION means you can AUTOMATE TASKS THE WAY YOU NEED THEM TO FUNCTION TO SAVE TIME..... NOW I have to recreate this campaign in a third party email platform like MailChimp or something, PAY MORE MONEY FOR THAT. And the Developers will NOT FIX THIS issue, either. There are features that users have asked for for YEARS and .....crickets. Instead, they add bells and whistles on top of a lame tool and call it good. I do not believe that they have actually worked day after day for clients, using the tools they develop. So many of the SquareSpace functionality is full of holes! so frustrated
