Disable blog metadata clickthrough on Tags and Categories

Hi there, I have a podcast page using a blog and blog summary set up. I am using tags and categories to feature info within the podcast (blog post) page but I don't want these as clickthrough's. I have found and tried various code snippets but I can't get any of these to work for me. Some help here would be most appreciated. Thank you very much in advance!!!

Add the following to Blog Settings > Advanced > Page Header Code Injection for the blog page. Please see per-page code injection.

This is for v7.0 using the Brine template family.
