OneAtelier
Site URL: https://www.reneelotenero.com Hello, A while ago we created this website for an artist, that is image based mostly. We added the name on an artist to alt text as well as images files names. Yet only few images appear on google search, when googled, what else could be considered to improve the amount of images appearing in search? Link to comment

Alt text can help with SEO but it shouldn't be relied upon entirely; it is there for accessibility purposes after all, and it's helpful for it to describe the image "Artwork by xxxx at yyyy featuring zzzz". Although this isn't a shining example of alt text, this .gov page is a good example of a page that appears highly in results because the page content (including image captions) gives context.
