anchor link jumping too far

Hi I am trying to add anchor link code blocks but the links are jumping down a little too far. 

This is my code injection: <p id="collagen"></p>

hi sorry i dont know all the lingo. I didn't mean to say code injection, I meant to say code block. that is what I had already on my site. the link jumps down halfway through the first paragraph instead of right before the title

Thank you! on mobile this works fine but on desktop it doesn't jump to where i want it to, it jumps farther down. i'll attach photos. the first one is where it jumps to and the second one is ideally where I want it to jump to.

It does this for all of my anchor links on desktop. I thought it might be something with my header so I decreased the padding of my header using this code:

 .header-announcement-bar-wrapper {
    padding-top: 0px !important;
    padding-bottom: 0px !important;
}

it definitely decreased the padding of the header but didn't fix the issue.

Yes. Because your header is sticky on scroll. It took up part of the height of the screen.

The solution is disable sticky effect on current page, or add some spacer blocks on above text
