supersusie
Site URL: https://www.portalaw.ca/who-we-help/openporta I've got a blog on portalaw.ca with a post set to link the post title to a source URL. That's working correctly on the blog main page itself -- see the OpenPorta Employment Law Clinic box toward the bottom of https://www.portalaw.ca/openporta However, I also have this blog embedded in another page using the Archive block, and in this instance the post title in the archive block is not forwarding to the external URL, but linking to the blog post. Yes, I can put the link on the blog post, but the idea is the route the user to the external source URL as quickly as possible... plus it seems weird to have inconsistent behavior! This is happening here on the OpenPorta Employment Law Clinic box: https://www.portalaw.ca/who-we-help/openporta I can't use URL mapping because the page exists and has to in order to appear in the blog. I would appreciate any workarounds or suggestions! Or if this is a bug, would love to know how to report that. Thank you, Susie Gardner Hop Studios Link to comment
creedon
Can you use a Summary block in place of the Archive block? An SB should behave as you want. Let us know how it goes. supersusie
Hi creedon, Thanks for your suggestion. I tested it and that does work properly, but will require me to rework all the CSS customization I've set up for the archive block. I'll leave things as is for a bit to see if there are alternatives that won't require that effort. But that may be the only solution. Which does suggest that this really is a bug. Susie.
