Customizing Carousel Gallery

I've been looking all over the internet for help with customizing the carousel gallery block within squarespace.

Along the bottom you'll see a slideshow gallery with images that shows the details upon hovering

this is the page i've created to try and test code with: https://www.max-solar.com/community-1
along the bottom you'll see a carousel gallery with no hovering text or anything

in an ideal world, i'd be able to add code to the carousel gallery to:

- add the hover text that shows on the slideshow gallery to the carousel gallery

- the ability to click and lightbox the images in the carousel gallery, with the text displayed

I haven't been able to find much help when it comes to customizing carousel galleries so I'm hoping for some help here.
