Exit intent specifically on the checkout/cart page?

I'd like to add an exit intent popup that only shows up when a user abandons their cart. I'm seeing significant cart abandonment and most of those are not recoverable by Squarespace's built-in email solution. I'd like to pop a promo when the user's mouse moves out of window where I can offer them a coupon code or similar to try and capture more of the carts that are currently abandoned. 

I haven't seen a plugin that allows for this level of specificity (cart page only). Has anyone seen a solution for this? 

The one product I tried adding to my cart took me directly to the checkout page. I assume you have Express checkout turned on.

The checkout page can not be altered. It is an SS security feature.

There is no way to put a pop-up on the checkout page.
