CSS Syntax Error

Hello! I went to upload a new font in the Custom CSS of a 7.1 site today. We have several things already coded on the site and have uploaded custom fonts before without issues.

However, after uploading the font, none of the custom fonts work on the site. I can see the custom fonts when I go to edit the site styles, but after saving, they revert back to the Squarespace default.

I have tried deleting the new font, deleting all the coding, etc. and it still is no longer working.

The CSS is saying I have a "syntax error on line 8" which is our global site colors (we have never had an issue before). When I delete that, it gives me an error on the next line. No matter how much I delete, I continue to have a syntax error unless I delete everything. I have run the entire code through a CSS validator and it continues to come back without error, so I'm not sure if this is a glitch in Squarespace (but they have informed me they can't help with customizations and sent me here).

I've attached the error. Can someone please help?!

It is an issue with lines 1 - 3

Delete them or add the correct comment markers by adding "/" as the first character on line 1 and another "/" at the end of line 3 🙂

You're welcome. You probably just accidentally deleted that first "/"
