how can i move the header button to the left of the shopping cart

I would like to do 3 things 

1) move the search button to the left of the shopping cart

2) bold face the text on the button 

3) make the button thinner top to bottom 

edit: should have stated the button is the standard header button

Add to Design > Custom CSS

and i accidently figured out how to make it smaller. there is no way to edit the header button, but if you add another button on a page, you can edit the button style which will allow you to change ALL the buttons styles which includes the header button.
