0 dragsterhund 0 Solution Share Posted January 20, 2014 Ron, You can use Google Maps, or a number of other web mapping services. Two others that I'd recommend are openstreetmap.com, mapstory.com, or mapbox.com. All these are fully editable and embeddable in your website. I can help you get them set up. -Charlie Link to post
3 JayShops 75 Share Posted September 16, 2016 @Ron If you're looking for a store locator type app, where visitors can search nearest locations i'd suggest you take a look at a store locator plugin like storepoint? https://storepoint.co/store-locator-software/squarespace It works really well with squarespace and it's a pretty reasonable monthly fee from what I remember? 1 SRDesign 0 Share Posted February 25, 2014 (edited) You can create the map using Google Maps. Just type in your directions and once your done click on the little gear in the lower right and click Share & Embed Map. The generated link can be placed in a code block on your site. 0 colin.irwin 17,548 Share Posted January 20, 2014 You can create custom maps using Google Maps and then embed them in your Squarespace site. 0 rotemke 0 Share Posted February 25, 2014 Hi, Kind of crashing in but Charlie, I tried embedding a map from mapbox and when I load my site it's not shown and I get a message saying this site is displaying unsafe content. When I click 'allow this content' the map is displayed but My URL looks as if the site is running locally (with the http crossed over with a red line). Rotem Link to post
0 rotemke 0 Share Posted June 7, 2014 Sorry for the very late response. I somehow didn't notice that my question was answered. Thank you for taking the time to reply. I'll be sure to check it out. Link to post

0 Koshey 0 Share Posted April 24, 2016 Hi Charlie @dragsterhund - do you do this the same way you add a map block? If I want to use map story? Sorry... Really new to this!! Link to post
0 merchako 53 Share Posted July 1, 2016 I'm well aware of these other resources, but they don't give me a built-in responsive UI, and SquareSpace's map blocks do. Is there a way I can modify either solution to make the map fit my page on any device? Link to post
0 BrianPierce 0 Share Posted March 27, 2017 The Squarespace Map Block guide isn't helpful for those of us who need more than one location pin per map. Link to post
0 chococaco 0 Share Posted August 9, 2017 There's a really nice tutorial here about how to do it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3059044/google-maps-js-api-v3-simple-multiple-marker-example If you're not a developer and want to have it easy to manage the locations, something like https://www.mapbox.com/ or https://storepoint.co/ would be best for creating a map and managing the locations Link to post
0 JayShops 75 Share Posted January 3, 2020 @BrianPierce https://storepoint.co/help/add-store-locator-squarespace this will work for most use cases including multi location maps Link to post
