colin.irwin
You can create custom maps using Google Maps and then embed them in your Squarespace site. Solution dragsterhund Posted January 20, 2014 Solution Share Posted January 20, 2014 Ron, You can use Google Maps, or a number of other web mapping services. Two others that I'd recommend are openstreetmap.com, mapstory.com, or mapbox.com. All these are fully editable and embeddable in your website. I can help you get them set up. -Charlie EarvinChong 1 Link to comment
rotemke
Hi, Kind of crashing in but Charlie, I tried embedding a map from mapbox and when I load my site it's not shown and I get a message saying this site is displaying unsafe content. When I click 'allow this content' the map is displayed but My URL looks as if the site is running locally (with the http crossed over with a red line). Rotem Link to comment
SRDesign
You can create the map using Google Maps. Just type in your directions and once your done click on the little gear in the lower right and click Share & Embed Map. The generated link can be placed in a code block on your site. Koshey
Hi Charlie @dragsterhund - do you do this the same way you add a map block? If I want to use map story? Sorry... Really new to this!! EarvinChong 1 Link to comment
merchako
I'm well aware of these other resources, but they don't give me a built-in responsive UI, and SquareSpace's map blocks do. Is there a way I can modify either solution to make the map fit my page on any device? Link to comment
JayShops
@Ron If you're looking for a store locator type app, where visitors can search nearest locations i'd suggest you take a look at a store locator plugin like storepoint? https://storepoint.co/store-locator-software/squarespace It works really well with squarespace and it's a pretty reasonable monthly fee from what I remember? BrianPierce
The Squarespace Map Block guide isn't helpful for those of us who need more than one location pin per map. Link to comment
chococaco
There's a really nice tutorial here about how to do it: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/3059044/google-maps-js-api-v3-simple-multiple-marker-example If you're not a developer and want to have it easy to manage the locations, something like https://www.mapbox.com/ or https://storepoint.co/ would be best for creating a map and managing the locations EarvinChong 1 Link to comment

Guest
You can do this with Storemapper - it takes just a couple minutes to install. https://www.storemapper.com/platforms/squarespace-store-locator/ Link to comment

Mikala
Hi there, is there an update? Is it still not possible to add multiple locations to a map? Which is the easiest way? Link to comment
paul2009
8 minutes ago, Mikala said: Is it still not possible to add multiple locations to a map? Correct. It is not possible to add multiple locations to a Squarespace Map Block, unless you add custom code, like the Advanced Map Block from Squarewebsites (affiliate link). Other paid mapping solutions do exist but would need to be coded and embedded. Did this help?
