See my comment above. This is a technical fault that can only be fixed by Squarespace engineers.

Same issue, contacted squarespace support to no avail at this point.  Anyone done anything on their end to help resolve this problem?  Waiting for squarespace devs indefinitely seems like a lackluster option.  Been 6mo since this thread was posted...

Any update on this issue? This is starting to be a fairly big crutch.

December 7th -- I am having the same issues... the square will turn and turn

December 28th -- same issue

This issue must not be to high on the engineers to do list.  This would be fixed by now.

Disappointing to see so many people over so many months with the same problem. I am getting the same issue. If anyone has managed to resolve I guess there would be an update here. Will follow the topic...

Got the same issue and reported to the Customer Service Team. I received the exact same response that will be forwarded to the engineer team. It's been over 6 months can't believe this issue is still an ongoing problem. Might have to change providers in this case. All my website audits where poor on my SEO score because of this. I know is not a sole problem but is a major one for me as my Google Business Profile generates a huge amount of impressions and is a let down for my SEO that can't be linked to the website to share the following. I am really disappointed by this.

Also having this problem and sent in a report to customer service. Just replied me with a bunch of troubleshooting tips which I've already tried without success.

Has this seriously not been fixed yet??  If not I will be looking for another platform to build websites with.  SEO is too important for business.  Can anyone suggest a comparable platform?

Have all of you individually reported this to Squarespace customer care? A volume of reports to Customer Care is the best way to get their attention; they do not check the forums for support requests or issues.

Same issue here. Just had a chat with cs (linked this feed too) and got the same response as previously mentioned here in this forum. Really hoping that they fix this soon. It boils my blood that they have let this go on for this long. I tried creating a new GMB listing through squarespace and you still have to connect that to GMB itself sooo NO LOCATION SEO for us squarespace users. Time to start looking for another platform!

This has been going on for almost a year. I cannot understand why it hasn't been fixed yet. 

I am having this same issue. I put a ticket in and spoke to SquareSpace support and they informed me it's a Google issue. GRRRRR!!! I told them there is a long history of this concern in the SP forum and they had no clue. I'm so frustrated!

Still having the issue with a site I just launched for a client.

February 12th, 2023 - having the SAME issue. Thought it was my wifi connection. This is bummer because I’ve always loved Squarespace. I can wrap my head around why it is taking so long to fix.
