midnattsbris
Site URL: https://www.midnattsbris.se Hi, We have started to use Cookiebot but when I paste the code in either header or footer it disables the "edit"-button inside Squarespace. Anyone that have experienced anything like that? Link to comment

This will be difficult to investigate as it will require permissions on the site to troubleshoot. It may be easier to use an alternative product for cookie management. ShirleyWoods
Got this same issue. And more. In effect stop using Cookiebot with Squarespace as you're not compliant despite what you think! I had to physically remove the Cookiebot code to edit my site then add it back on. Like WT* They can't help and send us back to Squarspace, but seems this is not a priority given the timeline of errors reported Further to which, things were not happening in relation to a widget I was using so investigated further. Appears that despite adding the Cookiebot script as the first script in the header Squarespace is loading lines and lines of their own code above it, which renders your cookiebot useless, makes you GDPR non-compliant and wide open to prosecution. So if you're paying a premium plan for CB, look for another solution and save your money! That said previously I tried Cookie Yes and that was even worse. Squarespace and these key solutions need to learn to talk to each other! Like right now! That said chances are I'm leaving Squarespace so that's one headache off my shoulders. Link to comment
