Hyperlink hover effect

Dear Community,

Working on a website that consists of one landing page with text only no images. I want to create a hover effect to the body text that is a hyperlink so if someone hovers over it an image will appear that can be clicked to access the linked page.

Can I make this happen with square space 7.0 without custom code? If I switch to 7.1 would I still need custom code? Or is this something impossible working with squarespace?

It is possible to do but uou would need code with either 7.0 or 7.1 to accomplish this effect.

Thank you for your note. I saw the tutorial and it works for text that stands alone on the page. Please take a look at my attachment to see how my hyperlinks in red color are part of the body copy of the page. I can't apply the tutorial in my case. Any advice?
