banner Removing banner image from behind navigation menu

I know I've done this before and cannot remember how...
I don't want the header image behind the navigation menu like on this page:

Instead, I want the image start lower, thus leaving the menu and logo on a white background, like on this page:
https://www.mirjamletsch.com/
