Full Page Bleed from Section to Header and Footer

So the way my site is currently set up on my "work" page which is a portfolio whenever you hover above a project the thumbnail appears full bleed over that section and into the header but not the footer. Is there anyway to get the thumbnail image to bleed through both the header and the footer? I only have the personal subscription currently.

you can try this code into CSS, make sure the code collection is the same as yours, I use google chrome plugin to find out your web page collection
