Logo Blurry in Footer

I have a clean crisp logo I've tried to put in the footer, but it keeps on showing up slightly blurry. I have tried png and gif images of various sizes, so it doesn't appear to be downsizing from what I can tell. Anyone else run into this problem?

The best option is to export from a vector-based software (like Adobe Illustrator) and export the logo to an svg format. See if that works better!
