Problem solved.

What did you do to solve this? I have a photography website for a client that I'll be doing very soon that will be moving from a WordPress site to SquareSpace. 
 

These are working redirects the last one is a wildcard redirect. 

/stories/z6b5z8ysh6k5r7ht7zk28ej8j73cf6 -> blog/praywithoutceasing 301

/storyarchive -> /blogsummary 301

/stories -> /blog 301

/stories/* -> /blogsummary 301

Usually when they don't work the original, the url being redirected,  is missing part of the subdomain. Look at my first one and if it  were

/z6b5z8ysh6k5r7ht7zk28ej8j73cf6 -> blog/praywithoutceasing 301 it would give an error and not function.
