Stopped allowing me to add contacts manually

So, I was adding email contacts manually from an art show I just had.  I got to 35 emails and it stopped allowing me to add any more.  I thought maybe it was a wrong email, so I kept trying with the rest of the list.  It will let me add the email, and their name, but then will not let me check the marketing button.  Then it won't let me click done, just cancel.  What am I doing wrong?

Squarespace recommend the csv import process for a large number of contacts but you should be able to add contacts manually too. If you are having difficulties, I recommend that you reach out to Squarespace Customer Care as the community are unable to resolve technical issues.
