Hurricane Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Site URL: https://guitar-impala-cp9t.squarespace.com/ I'm a newbie and apologies, but I have completed a website (not published) with client approval with the exception of the overly generous padding that the the template insists we use at the top and bottom of the headline text... the template gave me 3 options and I have selected the least, but it's still far to great and the white space top and bottom is almost like a big gap in the flow of getting to see the content below. The client doesn't like it nor do I and and agree with them. It just needs to be tightened up a little some of the white space taken out and I will get good to go. Can you someone help me with this? is it even possible? It seems ridiculous all the great tools, and on the lowest stetting its far to big the padding still, I have no idea who would ever use the other two settings. Anxiously awning your feedback thanks so much. Even a workaround would help me?
christyprice Posted May 25, 2022 Posted May 25, 2022 Hi @Hurricane It looks like this is an auto layout “list” section. The height is dependent on two things: The first is the length of all the content items you are using in the slider. It will default to the largest space needed for the longest content so the page layout doesn’t shift around when scrolling. It’s good practice to make all the text roughly the same length. The second is the top and bottom padding for the section which you can set inside the design tab for that section. If this doesn’t solve it can you create a site-wide password to share so we can view your site? christyprice.com 🇺🇸 Austin, TX US 🐾 ✅ Get my Starter Template for Web Designers 🎬 Watch 7 Ways to Save Time as a Squarespace Designer from Circle Day 2024 🎥 Watch Circle Live: Hello Income (feat.
