Custom CSS - need help to override fonts

I'm trying to use a custom font for my site.

https://fonts.google.com/specimen/Inter

I've uploaded the custom font and added some overrides already. However, some elements still come up with the theme font - i.e. Work Sans. I've annotated screenshots to show the ones that I'm unable to override. I'm not great at CSS - so can someone help me out by telling me what overrides I should add?

I found a way out. Turns out, I was identifying the right elements, but the overrides needed a !important to come through.
