modify the email that donation notices go to

trying to figure out how to determine which email address the receipts for the donations get sent to. every time there's a donation, I as the webmaster of the site get an alert. I don't want to receive these alerts. Instead I'd like to send them to an email that the client prefers.

couldn't find anything in the articles about this, or by browsing through the menu options either.
