Custom gallery / lightbox

Hi there - I'm trying to create a 'gallery page' that consists of a scanned image of a diary on the left, and a text transcription of that diary entry on the the right hand side - I want to be able to scroll left / right to each new diary entry.

I also need the scanned image to open in a lightbox if that is at all possible?

Any help will be much appreciated! Many thanks.

Is it the layout you want to achieve?

Hi BaNgan - yes thats the layout, I would just like a next and previous button to slide through each diary entry - like a carousel layout if thats possible. Thank you
