I have blogged once on the blog page of my website and it worked out perfectly.  I have since attempted a second blog by copying from another document and pasting below the previous blog.  I have started with "Add section" beneath that first blog post.  It is completely different from the first blog-- it will not post my name, or the date and when I go to other pages, the blog is posted on all other pages (about, contact, etc.)  When I erase the blog on those pages, it erases it on the primary blog page.  I'm so confused as to why it worked the first time and I'm not able to post again.  Any suggestions? Thanks.
