How can I alter title/description in gallery block to be invisible on page but visible within lightbox?

I'm trying to create a logo wall of charities, whereby you can open up any of the logos and it will display the name of the charity (Title) & a small blurb on what they do (Description) within the confines of a lightbox.

When the lightbox opens up I want to have the logo on the left with the name / blurb on the right.
Additionally I want to make it so that the title & description are only visible on the lightbox and invisible on the main gallery block.

Can anyone walk me through some code/css that could solve this issue or if something has been already been made like this, could you point me in the right direction as to where I can get started & direct my focus at.
