Enable right-click and save image blocks using custom code.

Recommended Posts

Hi, we are using our website as a free-to-download image site, however, in our new 7.1 template, people cannot right-click and save images in our gallery blocks when they are opened in lightbox.

Any help with this is HUGELY appreciated as we're not sure what to do.

Thank you

We need to make the images downloadable from our website (it's a free-to-use archive of photos for NGOs). For example, when people visit here: https://www.movinganimals.org/greyhound-racing, we need them to be able to click the image so that it enlarges, and then be able to right-click and save.

On our 7.0 Squarespace website this was possible. I imagine it now need custom code to override certain settings in 7.1?
