How to post two versions of an item or have subpages on the Shop.

Hi, I'm an artist and just opened a shop on Squarespace commerce. I want to do one of two things with my shop regarding selling prints and originals, but can't seem to figure out how:

1) I want to have two sections or pages in my shop (similar to the drop down options on my page) - one for originals and one for prints without uploading the same image twice on the same page (ex: I have and original and print of the same piece, and want them to be separated - one version on the original section, one version in prints). Right now, the only way I see how to do this is to upload the same piece twice, side by side, and that looks terrible on my shop.

2) If that isn't possible, how do I have one listing have an original or print option, especially if the original is already sold? I tried this with a sold out original piece, and on the shop page it shows the print price, which could be confusing for people to see side-by-side listings, one for $65 (original) and one for $10 (print), and you wouldn't see the $10 is the print version until you click on it.

This is the best way I know how to explain it , but I'll attach some screenshots which show it best.

Thank you,
Ashley

Have you tried creating a shop page for the original artwork? You could then duplicate this page to quickly create a shop page for prints? This avoids the "from" $10 pricing for originals.

Ashley I would suggest doing a custom various in your drop down menu.

for custom would label it as artwork type

for options : print

                        copy

one for the original print  one for copy

this also allows you to add small photos next to them for the customer to identify the difference.  you can also consider not tracking your copies for if your copies are printable to increase sales. one the variations are created its helpful to add small details like sku numbers etc ive attached an example please let me know if this helps
