Blog Post URL change glitch.

I had a strange problem today. I published a new blog post. First I gave it a custom url. It showed up in my summary block like it should,  the link was fine in config,  but when I clicked on it as a visitor it redirected to my about me page, which is how I have redirects set up. The default url showed up in the browser address bar. I copied it back to the post but that did not fix the issue. I had to delete the post and repost it without changing the url and then it worked. First time I have had this glitch. Any suggestions as to what is going on here?

Update. This appears to have been caused by a Chrome caching/cookie issue. I cleared all cookies  and browsing history, duplicated the post, and was able to change the url. Then I deleted the original one. 

Same problem happend today and I suspect that I am not the only one having it. I can see all new blog posts when using incognito mode in chrome but not in normal view unless I delete cookies and browsing history. Others can see it but not me.
