Store page - any way of limiting the amount of products shown?

I'm building a new site for my client on 7.1, they have ALOT of products but they don't like the fact the store page scrolls forever though....so is there a way to limit the amount of products that show on the store page (eg. 30 at a time for example) and visitors click 'Next page' or whatever to see more products? The products still need to be able to be filtered by sub categories.

 I searched and didn't see someone had asked this. Lazy Summaries is great but it would be far from ideal for this large store, so will let client know. Thanks for your help! 🙂
