How to scroll through a Reel by clicking on pictures and/or using a mouse wheel?

I'm searching for a way to scroll through a Reel by either clicking on pictures (thus mimicking the behaviour when pictures are shown in a lightbox) and/or using a mouse wheel. When using the mouse wheel, then the pictures should be scrolled horizontally, as if they are swiped.

The idea behind this is to remove the navigation arrows, to make the landing page more minimalistic and comfortable to navigate.

Is this somehow possible to achieve on the personal plan with Squarespace v7.1?

You need to use script code to make it autoplay. It requires a Business Plan or higher

Autoplay?

My aim is to either click on the pictures manually, to scroll through them (like done in Lightbox) or/and use the mouse scroll. Both actions should be triggered manually, so no autoplay involved here.
