Moving a Product from Inventory to a Store page

So I created a product in Commerce/Inventory. It is just how I want it to look. I then created a store page. How can I add the product I already made in inventory to the store page? There seems to be no way to assign an already created product to the store page. I only have the options to add new products and start over.

When you created the product from Inventory you should have been asked which Store page to add it to.

Look in Home > Pages for a Store page.

Your page name will probably different from the example image.

HI - no I don't get a page like that. here is what I get. First I select a physical product then I get the page to build the product. At no stage does it ask me what store I want it in?

After the first Store page is created, creating products via Inventory no longer asks that question unless you have more than one Store page on your site.

Did you look in Home > Pages for a Store page?

Aha - I will try that route and see what happens!! I created the product before I had created a store page.

How do you move a product from one store page to another?

I've tried doing it using the help article but the product just does not move, it does get it's category removed though

Some other issue - I made a product with no store assigned. Now it is in inventory and there seems no way to assign it to a store page - it is kind of hanging there...

Products live only in Store pages. So there must be a Store page somewhere in your site. I suggest looking at the very bottom of your Not Linked pages. Be sure to reload the page in your browser so you get the latest info. Sometimes automatically generated pages don't show up in the list until the page reload.

I'm also seeing this. I used to have a store page for "classes" but recently it either vanished or turned into an event page(...?) either way, I have several products that now have no store page affiliated in my commerce inventory.

I'm still able to make them appear on pages by embedding product info, but it's a very strange workflow.

Anyone else experiencing anything like this? Any updates on why this might be?
