Squarespace pages takes months to index

Since around October 2021, all of my new pages takes ages (3-5 months) to index in Google. I've tested this for three of my websites, both new and older sites. Likewise I've tested indexing a website and new pages on WordPress which only take 1-2 weeks. 

So this tells me there is something wrong with my setup on Squarespace, or there is something wrong with SS. Anyone else experience the same issue?
