gk8
Hello all, I'm attempting to set up a direct-booking website for my property management company. It's important that each property page be within a collection so it can be re-used across the website in various areas as a summary block. Because the property detail page needs a flexible design layout, I believe the portfolio collection type is the only one that will work for me. The problem is there is no way for me to use the summary block tool and import the portfolio collection content. Assuming this functionality doesn't get updated, does anyone know if there is workaround for what I'm trying to achieve? Related but lower priority - if there's a workaround to add category tags to the portfolio collection elements, I'd love to hear it. I really don't understand why this isn't an option. Thanks in advance! Link to comment

Related but lower priority - if there's a workaround to add category tags to the portfolio collection elements As you've discovered, Portfolios don't have all the same features as other collections, and the missing features can't be added through code. Note also that Portfolios are limited to 60 sub-pages too. The most flexible collection type is arguably a Blog collection. Did this help? wearequbit
1. It's not a very elegant solution, but you could use a Gallery Section, manually adding each project image and its URL. 2. No, not that I'm aware of unfortunately. Using a third-party paid plugin (like this https://squarepaste.com/shop/p/portfolio-filter) seems to be the way to go... for now. Link to comment
