GeoL
Are there any function that can copy the whole section from one page to another? I have some pages need the same section. I need to duplicate the page many time to achieve it. Can we have a function to make some custom section and save it for other pages within a site? Mikedownunder
I searched for a soln to this and tried Cust Support, but got no joy. It's a real pain in the butt. Same for moving or copying and pasting multiple bits and pieces between columns on the same page! Good luck. I'll be watching this. Oh I found a partial soln. Just duplicate the page and delete what you dont want on the new page, but that won't work for many situations. tiffanyleebrown, webbroi and JulianDont 2 1 Link to comment
JulianDont
Yeah bump on this request. So painful having to create from scratch the same sections from different pages. tiffanyleebrown, HummingbirdRaven and ALenz 3 Link to comment

There isn't a built in function for this. As others have mentioned, you can often copy a page to inherit sections from an existing page, but this isn't always suitable. Users building lots of sites - and therefore wanting to duplicate lots of sections - may appreciate knowing about the Tools PRO plugin for the Chrome Browser that allows you to duplicate sections. tiffanyleebrown
This seems like such a basic need, I'm very surprised it isn't addressed by Squarespace but foisted off on Google Chrome (not a good browser for anyone concerned about privacy for themselves, their clients, or our teetering democracy) and a third-party plugin. This is coming soon! 🙂 You'll be able to choose a section from one page and reuse it on other pages of your site. webbroi, rachella and tiffanyleebrown 2 1 Improve your online store with our extensions.About: Squarespace Circle Leader since 2017. dreyahb
If you're in Fluid Engine, you should be able to Ctrl + C a block and paste it in another section on another page and add all the blogs in a current section onto another. webbroi 1 Link to comment
Gert-Jan
It works perfect. Thank you dreyahb 1 Link to comment
Daimon
I hope this will be added soon. Sure Ctrl+C works in some extent but if I'm creating a temp page where I design a section that will be eventually published it's really needed feature that I can clone that finished section directly to a published/live page. Or if I could hide a certain section on a page from public, that would be ok too. But cloning sections between pages is a better solution. Link to comment
HummingbirdRaven
Ctr+C doesn't work for me. And wanted to know when this feature will be rolled out, as I'm creating a site right now. Thanks! Link to comment

tiffanyleebrown
I hope this functionality won't be limited to 7.1 . So many people are still on 7.0 (I'm running sites on both). Link to comment

Salwood
I'm using 7.1 and there's a new feature where you can save a section (a heart symbol) then add that section into a new page from 'my saved sections'. Link to comment
