Update, 15 May 2024: There is now a built-in Squarespace feature! You can add File Upload fields to your Form Blocks. A link to uploaded files will appear in the form submission notification email and can be downloaded if you have Owner or Administrator permissions on the website. You can choose which file types are accepted and how many files visitors can upload (up to 5) in the field's settings. Each uploaded file is limited to a size of 10 MB. Original Post, 11 April 2022: Squarespace doesn't have an 'upload' feature so you'll need to use an alternative third party solution to manage the files. There are a number of way to receive the files depending on your client's requirements. For example: They could ask customers to reply to the Order Confirmation email and attach their image(s). This is the simplest option as you will not require any code or third party tools. They could prompt the customer for file(s) on the Order Confirmation page. This will require code and the use of a third party forms service like JotForm (affiliate link) or a file storage/transfer service such as Dropbox, Google Drive or WeTransfer. You could prompt for the files on a Squarespace Form using the Squarewebsites Uploader (affiliate link). This service adds an upload capability to Squarespace Forms. Did this help? Jefferson0123 Posted October 20, 2023 Posted October 20, 2023 I have a job vacancy webpage on my website and on there I have set up a contact form but I need someone to be able to attach a file (like a CV) to the contact form and submit their application. I need it to go to one email address which I have set up. Squarespace have informed me that the upload attachment feature is NOT availible so can this be set up using custom CSS?

HMG Posted November 15 Posted November 15 Greetings Paul, Always appreciate your insightful help. Q: Will these third party uploader options include the file(s) with the Contact Us form details when received by the Contact Us form email recipient? Second, will they be able to open/manage the files from the received email? Thank you.

Each service operates differently, some with multiple options, so you may want to check out their respective support pages. However, for good privacy/security reasons, files aren't generally included as attachments in notification emails. Me: I'm Paul, a SQSP user for >18 yrs & Circle Leader since 2017.
