Adjust Height of a Section and Delete Scroll Function

Hi All,

I'm trying to move all the content on the page upwards so the final product is a cover page with a split layout with no scrolling.

I'd like the height of the first section to be shorter and the orange scroll function removed. I tried finding codes from different posts but I'm not having any luck. Could someone help me?

Add to Design > Custom CSS > then save & reload the site

section#vha-cover-page {
    min-height: unset !important;
}

I am still unable to remove get rid of the orange scroll text though. Could someone help me with this? Much appreciated!
