Limit on Blog Post Entries?

Is there a limit to the number of blogs you can add to a site? I have a lot of press releases, articles, and a database I'm building for a client and want to make sure using the blog feature for a lot of these items won't result in a slow loading site. I know 400+ pages impacts the site speed.

The only theoretical limit for the number of blog pages is the actual site limit of 1000 pages per site. As you say, this limits you to around 400 pages in practice because site performance usually suffers beyond this. 

There isn't a published limit for the number of posts within a blog page.
