Vertical Center Alignment of Text to Image

How do I vertically align text to images throughout the site for these split panels? I had to build these without the SS image block, so it is all misshapen when larger or smaller. 

I did find this code with worked for desktop, but the image disappears for mobile.

It's listed in my original post above—the screenshot is of a section which lives on the second block of the homepage... https://www.greenmet.com/. Although there are blocks like this I need to align throughout almost every page. 

This is time sensitive, please respond asap. 

I see block on homepage is fine. With other pages, if you share links, we can check & help easier. Each case will need a different code to solve.
