priorpriorwalter
Site URL: https://annastacy.com Hi all! Long time lurker, first time poster - just finished my new website and would love some feedback! Just transitioned from a 7.0 site and would love to hear from others about the look, navigation, and accessibility. Thanks! Link to comment
Alexandradecurtis
Hi, I really like the simplicity of the homepage, but I'm not a huge fan of pages where you don't know where you should click so I would suggest adding something to the home navigation that makes it obvious where you should click and where it'll take you once you click on the artist's name. Perhaps make the artist's name colour change to red when you hover over it? Love the font you chose, by the way! Once you get to the about page, and the other pages the navigation is clear, the text is easy to read and the layout is edgy. Love the red/black contrast. On the contact page is there a reason why the artist's graphic design work is only linked here? Perhaps it's something they don't really want to promote? Is it something the artist made or is it just posters they're featured in? It's not super clear. I really liked the poster page so I would try and include it somewhere more obvious where visitors will see it. Hope this helps! Alexandra Link to comment
derricksrandomviews
Its a great site, visualy grabs the viewer as soon as the site comes up. I have no criticism of it but like Alexandra I have a question. Why not have "designer" on the home page along with her other talents? Derrick. Link to comment
priorpriorwalter
@Alexandradecurtis @derricksrandomviews Thank you both for your kind words! Alexandra, I ended up creating a hover effect for the logo on the splash page and agree that really helps. I'm actually the actor in question and spent many years working in graphic design but am now transitioning away from it, but I still wanted the design page to be findable to those who are looking for it. Do you think I should put the design work in the nav anyway? Again, thank you! Link to comment
PaolaBdP
Hi! I really like the website! My only suggestion would be to match the length of the about section with the picture next to it, since the pic is cut at the bottom might be a good look to end the wording at the same place. Link to comment
