How to Setup Password & Share Site URL

Recommended Posts

Posted (edited)

I often have to share this guide. And I did link to the blog, but it's not very good, because the blog is not always stable.
So I post it here, so that when I need it, I can tell members to come in and see.

If your site is private or trial, you can setup password & share url for someone.

Click Settings

Next, Site Availability

Thank you for your generous offer to help.  I'm totally stubborn and was determined to find a way to fix the previous problem.  I did to some relative satisfaction.  My site is now public (but unpromoted as of yet) to allow review from a few different folks over the weekend.  It is here: https://www.kaseykoskiart.com/ if you are still inclined to look.

Just want to add that this can be done to non-enabled pages in your website, if you don't want to set your entire website to private.

Click the gear icon next to the page (under Website > Pages), enable the page and add a password.
