Image Slider with Lightbox on hover in 7.1

We are creating a simple scrolling horizontal image gallery for client who rents out properties for TV/Film.

Is there a bit of code which will allow users to hover over the images and get a lightbox of the full image? The client doesn't want to see thumbnails below the scrolling images but would like users to be able to see a full size of image. 

Or any other suggestion of smooth interesting ways to present the images in a scrollable horizontal format?
